October's Author Spotlight- A.R. Schilling
A.R. Schilling is a lover of lost worlds and new beginnings. If she's not writing about them, you'll find her reading about them or exploring the one she resides in with her family in tow. Even though her explorations nowadays are centered around a very strict bedtime routine and getting her degree, the fun never stops. For she believes adventure is only a book away.
What inspired your novel Stargazers Salvation?
I've always had a great love for dystopian and fantasy novels, but there just weren't many that blended the two. There also wasn't a lot of mental health represented in fantasy novels. So, I decided to fill those voids with a book of my own. Thus, S.S. was born.
You can find Stargazers Salvation at www.authorarschilling.com which releases later this month.
What are some fun facts you would like your readers to know?
I live off seaweed and Publix Sweet Tea.
I was asked to be on the Bachelor back in 2021 but declined because I had just met my now husband.
I have heterochromia, so my eyes are two different colors.
What are your future WIPs?
I have a standalone series coming up that I am extremely excited for. It has everything from bully romance to a dark rom-com and a fairytale retelling. Then, of course, I have the Heiress to Nothing series that I'll be continuing. That alone is projected to be a 12 book interconnecting series. So, there is a lot readers can expect to see from me in the near future.

Stargazers Salvation blurb...
Andromedas is a big place, but not big enough. Especially not when every district there falls under the rule of the Sol throne. A throne Tara Ravi was meant to inherit, if only she hadn't been born without a Sol.
With her first breath promising her kingdoms last, there is little she can do to prove her life is worth keeping. Unless, that is, she can find a new way to serve the Sun. Find a new purpose.
All she has to do is graduate from one of the War Academies five sectors. Which she quickly learns is not as easy as it sounds, her questionable taste in men only adding to her abysmal odds of surviving that long.
Death is not all that waits for her in the dark though. Something else is stirring, slowly breaking free of the lies that kept it bound, and promising the answer to a question long forgotten...
What she was made for.
